CHANCES OF SELECTION

For DV-2006 there was a 1 in 70 chance of being selected. Approximately 90,000 were selected from the 6.3 million entries received. In the previous visa lottery programs, millions of entries were disqualified because they were received outside the registration period or failed to properly follow directions (more than one in three entries disqualified).

Our clients' entries are formatted by a computer software program to eliminate any chance of error. The entry is submitted electronically to the designated website in the correct format. A copy of the confirmation by the State Department that the entry was successfully filed, is sent to each of our clients as proof of service.
